Actually, I'm going to be working on Mass Effect weaponry soon (Hand Cannon, Shotgun and Sniper). Any tips appreciated. <3

well there is a lot of ways... You can make it out of paper (papercraft), cardboard (like my project) or wood (that's more difficult). Anyway, I strongly advise you to cover it with polyurethane resin afterwards, because it makes a plastic coating, and the model is great and very hard. I am currently doing another Lancer out of this, and it blows my first away.
